New Jersey 9/11 Memorials

The memorials that spontaneously arose after 9/11 intrigued me. And as time went on towns created their own permanent memorials to honor their lost residents. As part of my “Discovering NJ” series I had done a piece around my hometown’s memorial. These digital montages grew out of my desire to see what other NJ towns had erected. Each memorial is combined with images of either the twin towers, the new WTC1 tower, or the national memorial on Ground Zero. I hope that the combination of these images speaks a message about that tragic event, and its ensuing grief, that goes beyond the specific memorial.

All images are printed out on Epson high quality archive photo paper unless otherwise noted. Dimensions are unframed. Contact me for price list.
